Armadillos End Keeso Streak Tuesday, July 28th , 2076 Jared Keeso's 21-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today as the Brew City Bears suffered a setback against the Amarillo Armadillos, 10-2. Keeso went without a hit in 3 trips to the plate. He was visibly upset during a postgame press conference, but it appeared that the streak had little to do with it. "The hitting streak was one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep about it tonight," he said. "On the other hand, I am going to lose sleep about dropping this game today." For the season, Keeso is currently batting .361 with 13 home runs and 39 RBIs. In 71 games he has reached base at a .431 rate and scored 48 runs to date. |
