MiLPBE Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, September 14th , 2076 Amarillo fans have something to crow about today as Amarillo catcher Chorizo McTater nabbed the Minor League PBE Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said McTater. He posted a .579 average (11-for-19) this past week with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs, and 5 runs scored. McTater on the season is hitting .322 with 5 home runs. His stats include 43 RBIs and 72 runs scored. |
