Semi-FInals Goes the Distance, Kansas City Prevails Thursday, October 3rd , 2069 Kansas City Hepcats won a nail-biting series against the Louisville Lemurs 4-3, wrapping up the Semi-FInals finale 4-1 at Kenny Payne Appreciation Stadium. Hepcats third baseman Gnome Child was named the series MVP. He batted .500, drove in 4 runs and scored 10 to lead Kansas City into the next round of play. "Gnome was real solid for us, real solid," said Hepcats manager . "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."
