Sheeping Put in Cooler, Hitless Against California Friday, May 7th , 2077 Samuel Sheeping of the Louisville Lemurs came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 24 games. Making matters even worse for the right fielder, Louisville dropped the game to the California Firehawks, 9-2. "It was not a good day today," Sheeping told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." So far this season, Sheeping is hitting .404 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 23 hits in 57 at-bats and a .426 OBP. |
