June's Starter of the Month Goes to Pimling Thursday, July 1st , 2077 Louisville Lemurs starter Pim Pimling has collected the Minor League PBE Pitcher of the Month award for a run of lights-out performances. "This town really appreciates it when you're going well," said Pimling. "They might boo you when you're getting knocked around, but they love you when you're mowin' them down." In June the 22-year-old compiled a 6-0 record in 6 starts with a 1.28 ERA. He threw 42.1 innings, fanning 39 while walking 12. This year, Pimling has posted a record of 8 wins and 2 losses with a 2.70 ERA. He has appeared in 14 games and struck out 71 in 90 innings. |
