Vlková 5-for-5 for Armadillos Tuesday, July 13th , 2077 Speaking with reporters after a dominating hitting performance, Kveta Vlková said his club's tilt with the Florida Flamingos "felt almost like batting practice." The 22-year-old third baseman went a remarkable 5-for-5 at the plate. "I saw the ball well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted," he recalled later. However, his sensational day wasn't enough for the Amarillo Armadillos, who were topped by the Flamingos, 9-7. "It's a good lesson for him, I guess," Armadillos manager said. "Sometimes Kveta is going to lose. But I would rather him go 5-for-5 and lose than go 0-for-5 and lose." Kveta Vlková hit a solo-shot off LaLa Dee in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run double in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
