Walter Walterson Captures MiLPBE Most Valuable Player Award

Walter Walterson took Minor League PBE by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 23.

For his spectacular campaign, the Amarillo Armadillos star has been named the 2069 Minor League PBE Most Valuable Player Award recipient.

"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the third baseman.


On the season he compiled a .356 batting average to go with a .428 on-base percentage. The native of Moscow, Russia also added 16 doubles, 3 triples, 26 home runs, 93 RBIs and 90 runs scored.

Livingston Tweedlecock of the Brew City Bears finished second in voting, while Zen Bobrist of the Anchorage Wheelers finished third.
