Puerto Rico Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Tuesday, August 17th , 2077 After a tough year, the Puerto Rico Ranas have been the butt of jokes around many water coolers in the Puerto Rico area. There will be some new fodder for jaded fans to discuss now -- the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Puerto Rico last appeared in the postseason in 2053. This is their 24th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 34 times in their 49-year history. Puerto Rico last won the World Series in 2050. |
