Bigboy Terrific, Takes MiLPBE Most Valuable Player Award
Wednesday, October 27th , 2077
At the age of 22, Bobs Bigboy of the Brew City Bears could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2077 was good enough to win the first baseman the Minor League PBE Most Valuable Player Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .329 batting average this year, as well as a .375 on-base percentage. He played 108 games and racked up 154 hits, 16 doubles, 1 triple, 33 home runs, 88 RBIs and 83 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ben Martin of the Amarillo Armadillos finished second in voting, while Wet Sock of the Louisville Lemurs finished third.
