California Firehawks catcher Ivagotta Dumper failed to get a hit against the Amarillo Armadillos and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 24-year-old went 0-for-3 in his club's 6-5 victory over the Armadillos at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. "I think I only made it to 21 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." Thus far this year, Dumper is hitting .372 with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
