Martin Hits in 25 Consecutive Games Tuesday, July 19th , 2078 Amarillo left fielder Ben Martin has extended his hitting streak to 25 straight games with a 1-for-4 day. However, the Anchorage Wheelers seized the 8-4 victory over the Armadillos at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. "Disappointing," Martin said of the outcome. Ben Martin grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. Thus far this year, Martin is hitting .342 with 13 home runs, 45 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
