July's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 1st , 2078 California Firehawks fans believe they've got a talented young star in Coleman Carver. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in July, as he hit .385 with 7 home runs, 28 RBIs and 17 runs scored. The end result was the right fielder being named the Minor League PBE Batter of the Month. For the season, Carver has produced 78 hits in 221 at-bats for a .353 average with 8 home runs and gotten on base at a .411 clip. |
