MiLPBE Starter of the Month Goes to Edgecombe Thursday, September 1st , 2078 VJ Edgecombe had an outstanding August -- so good that the Minor League PBE presented him with the Pitcher of the Month Award earlier today. "There's no way to know where the Armadillos would be without Edgecombe," one fan is quoted as saying. In August Edgecombe dominated the competition, running up a 5-1 record, a 2.70 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 40 innings. Edgecombe has posted a 12-7 record for the year with a 3.66 ERA. Teams are hitting .255 against him and he has rung up 85 strikeouts in 152.2 innings. |
