Cash Jr. Bombs 3 HR Against Brew City Saturday, July 15th , 2079 Chris Cash Jr. was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 10-4 Anchorage Wheelers triumph at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. The 23-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Wheelers past the Brew City Bears. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Cash Jr. told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The right fielder went 3-for-4, rung up 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Chris Cash Jr. hit a solo-shot off Maru Zensky in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Maru Zensky in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Maru Zensky in the 4th and flied out in the 6th. So far this year, Cash Jr. is batting .277 with 14 home runs and 45 RBIs. |
