Abel Wins Rookie of the Year Honor Sunday, October 22nd , 2079 Nathan Abel of the Kansas City Hepcats made quite a splash on the Minor League PBE scene in 2079 by nabbing the Rookie of the Year Award. The standout Hepcats designated hitter took the honor by hitting .267 in 108 games this season and finishing with 115 hits, 29 home runs, 92 RBIs and 60 runs scored. Kris Rice of the State College Swift Steeds finished second in voting, while Alex Kidd of the Anchorage Wheelers finished third. |
