MiLPBE Names Best Player Monday, May 19th , 2070 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Minor League PBE, but last week Gnome Child of the Kansas City Hepcats reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Child rocked opposing pitching for a .538 average (14-for-26), 3 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. For the season Child is currently batting .421 with 6 home runs and 19 RBIs. In 22 games he has reached base at a .481 rate and scored 20 runs to date. |
