Love Rips Amarillo for 5 Hits Friday, May 23rd , 2070 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Jackson Love of the Anchorage Wheelers. Love went on a tear at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo and cracked hit after hit off Amarillo pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 21-year-old second baseman had a career 5-for-5 day and something he will long remember. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview. Despite Love's personal accolades, the Amarillo Armadillos walked off the field with the 9-7 win. Jackson Love hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Barto O'Colon in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
