Stackinpaper II Goes Downtown 3 Times Against Hepcats Tuesday, August 13th , 2080 It was a day for the record books for Chicago Kingpins first baseman Ben Stackinpaper II, who walloped three out of Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good against the Hepcats. However, not even a three-homer game could prevent the Hepcats from getting the 8-7 victory. "We threw some good pitches and they hit 'em, and we made some bad pitches and they hit 'em. That's a good strategy for losing ballgames," Chicago skipper joked after the loss. Stackinpaper II still had a few opportunities to celebrate along the way. He was 3-for-5 for the day, batting in 6 runs and scoring 3 times. "I never, ever thought I would hit three home runs," Stackinpaper II said. "I hit three home runs once when I was 12 in Little League and I thought that was going to be the last time." Ben Stackinpaper II hit a two-run home run off Jimothy Pitchet in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jimothy Pitchet in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jimothy Pitchet in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. For the year, Stackinpaper II has hit at a .295 clip with 64 RBIs, 23 home runs and 74 runs scored. |
