Hits Galore: Castillon Drills 5 Hits
Thursday, April 24th , 2081
Speaking with reporters after a dominating hitting performance, Dominique Castillon said his club's tilt with the Chicago Kingpins "felt almost like batting practice." The 23-year-old designated hitter went a remarkable 5-for-6 at the plate.
"I saw the ball well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted," he recalled later.
However, his sensational day wasn't enough for the Kansas City Hepcats, who were topped by the Kingpins, 13-6.
"It's a good lesson for him, I guess," Hepcats manager said. "Sometimes Dominique is going to lose. But I would rather him go 5-for-6 and lose than go 0-for-6 and lose."
Dominique Castillon flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
