Singh Goes 5-for-6 Against Puerto Rico
Wednesday, May 15th , 2069
After a 5-hit effort to lead State College's 18-2 victory over the Puerto Rico Ranas, second baseman Bageshwari Singh told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."
"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Minor League PBE-level is really something special."
The 24-year-old player earned his accolades today at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium with a spectacular 5-for-6 game against the Ranas.
"His swing is getting there," said Swift Steeds skipper , who spoke glowingly of Singh after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Bageshwari did that to perfection today."
Bageshwari Singh hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Ranto Mune in the 8th.
So far this season Singh has put up a .325 batting average with 25 hits, 2 home runs and 10 RBIs.
