Minor League PBE Selects Best Rookie Friday, October 17th , 2070 Florida's Sniper King took the hill for 27 starts this year, came away with 14 victories and copped the 2070 Minor League PBE Rookie of the Year Award as well. The 20-year-old newcomer tossed 150.2 innings and dealt out 91 strikeouts, while holding opposing batters to a .237 average. King fashioned a 14-6 won-lost mark with a 2.87 ERA. Duke NukesEm of the Louisville Lemurs finished second in voting, while Anthony Stover of the Kansas City Hepcats finished third. |
