Week's Premier Performer Honored by MiLPBE Monday, July 3rd , 2045 23-year-old Kent Murphy III made a few Kansas City headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Minor League PBE officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 9 hits in 15 at-bats to put up a .600 average. Murphy III collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. For the year Murphy III has hit at a .326 clip with 41 RBIs, 7 home runs and 33 runs scored. |
