The Anchorage Wheelers weathered a fine game by Kansas City first baseman Super Creek to upend the Hepcats, 12-8, at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good. Creek went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI. With the win over Kansas City, the Wheelers improved to 32-44.
With two out in the top of the ninth, Misty Morning had a game-changing hit. The Wheelers first baseman slammed a 2-run single off Rohn Jocker, making the score 11-8, Anchorage.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Anchorage skipper .
