Demons Absorb 5-3 Home Loss

Death Valley and Detroit duked it out and the Scorpions came out victorious.
A 3-RBI performance from Ted Giannoulas, who finished 4th in the Champions in OPS with .938 in 2069, helped the Death Valley Scorpions beat the Detroit Demons, 5-3. Deviver Votto got the win, improving to 9-5. He held the Demons to 2 runs on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Zachary Vega III locked down his 7th save.
In the first inning, Giannoulas had a 2-run home run for Death Valley. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the Scorpions on top, 2-0.
"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Detroit manager .
The Scorpions improved their record to 49-35 with the win over Detroit.
