Lunar Base and New Orleans duked it out and the Space Rangers came out victorious.
The Lunar Base Space Rangers defeated the New Orleans Rougarous, 6-3, at Full Moon Stadium. Lunar Base was led by 35-year old designated hitter Enderman, who was 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Matt Hunter picked up the win, improving his season record to 8-9. He struck out 9 in 7.1 innings. Earning the save was Cornelius George-Braxton. He's now cashed in 6 of 11 save opportunities.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Firefly Boy? The 26-year old right fielder Boy stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put Lunar Base up, 4-3. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
