Scorpions Get 5-3 Win Versus Seattle
The Death Valley Scorpions picked up a win at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, downing the Seattle Sea Serpents, 5-3. On the mound for Death Valley was left-hander Femini Nomenon, who played a pivotal role in the win. Nomenon picked up the win for Death Valley, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-0. The Scorpions keep rolling, raising their record to 10-4.

With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Bass Reeves had a game-changing hit. The Scorpions second baseman slammed a 2-run single off Kip Treadwell, making the score 4-0, Death Valley.
