Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Griffin Stone, who is tied for 4th in the Champions in home runs with 4, the Cancun Toros defeated the Seattle Sea Serpents, 9-2. Pedro Martini was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was 33-year old left-handed pitcher Mejiro McQueen. The Toros, now 11-3, have played inspired baseball.

Tiernan O'Malrain was 2-4 with 2 singles for Cancun. The 25-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring single off Mejiro McQueen. It was his 15th hit of the season.
