Nasty Twirls a Gem for Vancouver
|
Starting pitcher Chuck Nasty had a solid game. He was a big reason the Vancouver Vandals throttled the Nashville Stars, 4-0. Retsnomekalyag Kove got the save, his 16th in 18 chances. The win lifted the Vancouver record to 53-35.
Nasty worked his mojo for Vancouver. The hard-throwing left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings of work.
"Chuck -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Vandals manager . "He was the key to us winning."
