Indianapolis registered a win at Demon's Lair at Laser Park by beating the Detroit Demons, 4-2. Pitcher Calm Chicken was one reason why the Apex triumphed. The winning pitcher was Chicken, now 10-10. Indianapolis used the timely hitting of Leon Rosenthal to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Apex on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Calm pumped strikes and he made good pitches when he had to," said Indianapolis manager .
