Mander Slugs Sloths to 8-5 Win
San Antonio and Boise duked it out and the Sloths came out victorious.

The 8-5 San Antonio win over Boise was due in large part to Jerry Mander. The Sloths right fielder slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The loss drops Boise to 6-9.

With San Antonio leading 3-2 in the top of the fourth, Mander hit a slider from Harold Smith for a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Sloths ahead, 5-2.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Mander.
