Swift Steeds Victors, 10-2, at Amarillo
|
State College pitcher Kris Rice did his part in helping his team beat the Amarillo Armadillos, 10-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The setback makes Amarillo 48-55.
State College catcher Tobias Graf contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a curveball to right-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 110th hit of the season and put the Swift Steeds ahead, 4-0.
"Solid performance from our side," said Swift Steeds manager .
