State College and Anchorage duked it out and the Swift Steeds came out victorious.

State College Swift Steeds starter Oze Bones turned in an exceptional performance against the Anchorage Wheelers at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, resulting in a State College win, 4-1. The winning pitcher was Bones, now 8-13. He tossed 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. Ello Emmell was credited with the save for State College, his 3rd of the season.

State College used the clutch hitting of Adam Joy to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Swift Steeds the lead, 4-1. For the game, Joy had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Joy.

The Swift Steeds raised their record to 33-68.
