Kansas City registered a win at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good by beating the Louisville Lemurs, 3-2. Pitcher FireBob Nutting was one reason why the Hepcats triumphed. The Hepcats bumped their record to 57-50 with this latest triumph.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Kansas City. That's when Gandalf the Grey, who is tied for 2nd in the MiLPBE in stolen bases with 93, hit a solo home run off Glenn Snaps to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
