Nashville Gets 10-3 Win
|
Stars designated hitter C.J. Lavine put his stamp on his team's 10-3 win over the Boise Raptors. Lavine went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for Nashville in the contest. Picking up the win was Mac John. He went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. The left--hander struck out 8 and walked 3. To call the performance of the 2072 Raptors disappointing is an understatement.
Tommy Callahan, the two-time Gold Glove Award winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. Callahan contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Nashville up, 4-1.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Lavine told the Nashville Daily News.
