Outer Banks Win Evens Series at 1
The Outer Banks Aviators went the distance and then some at Vaughn's House to drag themselves back into a tie with the New York Voyagers.

It took 10 innings to settle Game 2 of the Divisional Series, but Outer Banks eventually took the 10-4 win behind the efforts of pitcher Lanky Schramm. Schramm threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball to aid the Outer Banks cause. The clubs are now tied 1-1 in their best-of-5 series.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Curtis Jones came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing New York pitcher Professor Croakwell, he hit a 2-2 circle change for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Outer Banks on top, 5-4.

"There's no quit in this team," said Aviators manager .

Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at The Island in Providence.
