The Divisional Series got off to a quiet start, with the host Cancun Toros taking a low-scoring, 2-0 win over the Death Valley Scorpions. Cancun right-hander John Cowgill was marvelous at Coliseo Toros, presentado por VINS. The Toros now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.
