Tafo-Felia Blasts Firehawks, Swift Steeds Take Game 1, 4-3
The State College Swift Steeds started the Semi-FInals in style, winning on the road against the California Firehawks at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons by a score of 4-3 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Swift Steeds center fielder Faye Tafo-Felia excelled. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

In the top of the first, Tafo-Felia pounced on a 3-1 fastball from Wah Wong and hit a 2-run home run. It put State College on top, 2-0.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Tafo-Felia told the State College Chronicle.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons in Providence.
