Rainier Blasts Lemurs, Bears Take Game 2, 8-5
The Brew City Bears knotted up the Semi-FInals at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House, thanks in large part to first baseman J.B. Rainier. Rainier was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once as he overpowered the Louisville Lemurs, enabling Brew City to grab the 8-5 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Rainier delivered big-time for Brew City, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Colby Renslow. The game-changing hit put the Bears on top, 8-5.

"When you put in the effort and you get really focused, the results come in ways you're not even expecting," said Bears manager .

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, September 28th , 2073 at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle in Providence.
