The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the Anchorage Wheelers, 4-1, in Game 2 of the Semi-FInals. Doing his part was starter Crabtin Crunch Jr., who threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The win moves Amarillo into a 1-1 tie with Anchorage in the series.

In the bottom of the fourth, Amarillo third baseman Kveta Vlková had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and no one out, Vlková stroked a 2-run home run to left. It made the score 2-0, Amarillo. For the game, he was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Vlková. "You've got to get results."

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo in Providence.
