Louisville Pins 5-3 Loss on Chicago
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of right fielder Ozzie Robinson, the Louisville Lemurs stopped the visiting Chicago Kingpins, 5-3, in Game 2 of the Semi-FInals. Robinson was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Lemurs, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.
A key moment came with one out in the bottom of the second. That's when Robinson hit a sinker from Chudigal Son for a 2-run double, putting Louisville up, 4-1.
"It was a solid team effort," said Robinson after the game.
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 29th , 2074 at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium in Providence.
