Almost There: Louisville On Cusp of SF Triumph After 4-3 Win

The Louisville Lemurs moved to within one game of the World Series, downing the State College Swift Steeds on the road at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0 by a score of 4-3. Lemurs left-hander Pim Pimling had a strong outing. He threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The win gives the Lemurs a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Semi-FInals.
The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Kasane Teto came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing State College pitcher Cass Silskrumblin, he hit a first pitch slider for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Louisville on top, 3-2.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," State College manager said, following the tough loss.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0 in Providence.
