Delvecchio Blasts Bears, Armadillos Take Game 3, 7-5
Riding the 2-hit performance of second baseman Tony Delvecchio, the Amarillo Armadillos got a road win against the Brew City Bears, 7-5, in Game 3 of the World Series. Delvecchio was 2-5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Armadillos, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Amarillo used the timely hitting of Cillian O'Rae to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Armadillos on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Delvecchio said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House in Providence.
