The Buffalo Surge got a magnificent performance from pitcher Juicy Jumbo, who muffled the Outer Banks offense en route to a tight, 1-0 Surge win at The Power House. Buffalo is 11-12 and Outer Banks, with the loss, 8-15.

The decisive blow was delivered by Itsumi Meo in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old left-handed pitcher Mickey Martino to win the game for Buffalo. The home crowd went nuts.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Meo said.
