Toros Rally Past Voyagers to Claim 2-1 Series Lead
The Cancun Toros nearly wasted a strong game from starter J.C. Swishman, but were saved by some timely hitting in a 9th inning walk-off win over the New York Voyagers today.

Swishman pitched well in the 4-3 win at El Coliseo de los Toros. He threw 6.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The win allowed Cancun to seize a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 World Series.

The Toros were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when designated hitter Kurtis McKenzie turned a 1-1 fastball from Keepa Secret into a 2-run single. The walk-off single electrified the El Coliseo de los Toros denizens and sent the Toros home with a thrilling 4-3 win.

"We put together a nice win," McKenzie said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at El Coliseo de los Toros in Providence.
