Summers Blasts Armadillos, Flamingos Take Game 1, 7-3
The Florida Flamingos started the Semi-FInals in style today, winning on the road against the Amarillo Armadillos at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod by a score of 7-3 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Flamingos catcher Waxillium Summers excelled. He went 4-4 with 2 home runs, a triple, and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice.

Dexter Jackson, the 22-year old designated hitter , had a direct impact on the outcome. Jackson contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Florida up, 3-0.

Jackson told a Florida Chronicle reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod in Providence.
