The Death Valley Scorpions topped the Nashville Stars by a score of 8-5. Leading the way was first baseman Launch Angle. Angle hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Scorpions. Death Valley reliever Dennis Martinez snagged the win, upping his record to 3-0. Masahiro Sato shouldered the loss. The win puts Death Valley at 10-17.
