The Death Valley Scorpions defeated the Detroit Demons, 11-5, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. Death Valley first baseman Ted Giannoulas had a superb performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Death Valley has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

Lawn Gnomes took Korrin Abernathy Jr. deep in the bottom of the third. His 3-run home run put the Scorpions on top, 4-3. In all, Gnomes had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
