Cancun right fielder Napoleon Solo helped his team beat the Detroit Demons, 6-5. Solo, who finished 3rd in the Champions in triples with 6 last year, went 3 for 4 for the Toros. Cancun pitcher Roquefort Cotswald got the win. He's now 1-0. Snor Summers was tagged with the loss. Detroit, with the loss, is still a stout 4-1.

Cancun got a knockout punch from Carlton Beaty. The catcher hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Solo told the Cancun Herald. "It's as simple as that."
