Apex Pick Up 6-4 Win Against Death Valley

Starting pitcher Biggus Tittious Smittious pitched well enough to help the Indianapolis Apex beat the Death Valley Scorpions, 6-4. Reliever Felix Burgous picked up the win. His record improves to 5-2. James Noble, who is tied for 3rd in the Champions in holds with 2, took the loss. Indianapolis has won 5 straight, while Death Valley has lost 8 in a row.
Leon Rosenthal hit a 3-run home run off James Noble in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Apex ahead, 6-3. In addition to the homer, Rosenthal had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
"Biggus Tittious was cooking with gas," said Indianapolis manager .
