Voyagers Stun Surge, 5-3

The New York Voyagers had to overcome a big game from Buffalo third baseman D.W. Dogmaple to leave The Power House with a victory. And they did, winning, 5-3. Dogmaple was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. New York reliever Big Rooster was the winner. His record is now 6-2. Cybernetically Enhanced RoboDibble took the loss. Kaitlyn Montreal was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.
New York needed the clutch hitting of Kries Von Kriestalhauser to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Voyagers on top, 5-3. For the game, Von Kriestalhauser had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Von Kriestalhauser.
The Voyagers raised their record to 29-18.
