State College Gets 6-4 Win Against Ranas
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Puerto Rico Ranas and State College Swift Steeds get after it.
Led by Michael Ramm, the State College Swift Steeds defeated the Puerto Rico Ranas, 6-4. Ramm went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Swift Steeds . The win was credited to Lua Exos in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Punish Vandals took the loss.
Ramm had a timely hit for State College in the bottom of the seventh. With Puerto Rico trailing 4-3, he turned a 0-1 sinker into a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 6-4, State College.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Ramm.
The Swift Steeds , now 12-6, have been playing some good baseball.
