Florida starter Moe Mentum put the Puerto Rico offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his changeup in leading the Flamingos to a 5-1 win. Mentum picked up the win for Florida, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Pord Larquad [BOT] closed the game out for Florida, earning his 1st save.
Tung Tung Tung Sahur was 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks for Florida. The 21-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Ribbit Ribbit [BOT]. It was his 7th walk of the season.
