The Florida Flamingos got a sterling performance from pitcher Stu Macher, but the Amarillo Armadillos still prevailed, 5-4. Macher threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The Flamingos fall to 8-11 and continue their uneven start to the 2069 season.

Lestat de Lioncourt was 1 for 3 with a double for Amarillo. The 20-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Barry Balls. It was his 4th RBI of the season.
