State College shortstop Diego Ramieriez played a vital role in his team's 7-3 triumph over Brew City. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times for State College. The second-place Swift Steeds lifted their record to 15-12.

State College catcher Emidas Blair contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball into right field for a 2-run single. It was his 32nd hit of the season and put the Swift Steeds ahead, 4-0.
