The Florida Flamingos picked up a win at Florida Man Park, knocking off the Kansas City Hepcats, 5-0. On the mound for Florida was right-hander Jay Kirkpatrick, who played a pivotal role in the win. The last-place Hepcats have lost 6 straight games.
With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Waxillium Summers had a game-changing hit. The Flamingos catcher slammed a 2-run single off Definitelynot Kevinchoate, making the score 4-0, Florida.
